We are looking for a section leader for students. Vision is in an exciting development phase focused on strengthening our identity as the leading trade union for our target groups, increasing awareness of our work, boosting our membership growth, and creating long-term engagement among our members and elected representatives. Therefore, we need to strengthen our marketing function with a section leader who wants to drive, develop, and coordinate our recruitment efforts at universities and colleges across the country.

The Marketing and Recruitment Unit is looking for a driven and committed person to join our team, Student Activities. We are looking for someone who wants to lead, develop, and coordinate our recruitment efforts at universities and colleges across the country. As a section leader, you will have budget responsibility and be responsible for planning, recruiting, and managing our student informants – our extended arm in schools. The student informants organize, market, and carry out activities related to our selected programs and institutions. Your role is to lead and develop this work with the goal of recruiting as many student members as possible.

You will be responsible for operations at several locations and institutions, focusing on driving it forward in a methodical and strategic way. Your responsibilities also include Vision's participation in job fairs, exhibitions, and other important events – both to strengthen relationships with existing student members and to recruit new ones. At each institution, there are important networks, and a central part of your mission is to develop and strengthen these.

In addition, you will act as support for elected representatives and colleagues on issues related to student recruitment and the target group.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys leading others.
• Is a very good communicator and networker.
• Is good at making plans, executing, and following up on operations.
• Enjoys analysis and has good knowledge of Excel.
• Has a natural drive and enjoys working towards set goals.
• Is creative and solution-oriented.
• Has an academic education or equivalent competence.
• Is experienced in working with Microsoft 365.

It is an advantage if you have experience in leading others, sales activities, marketing, recruitment, have a network within universities and colleges, and are used to coordinating activities and training days. You may be a recent graduate from a program, but you may also have worked for a while in a similar role.

As a person, you are self-driven and structured. You take initiatives, start activities, and achieve results. You are clear and have excellent collaboration skills.

Travel within Sweden is included in the position as you need to maintain close contact with the student informants and operations at the locations you are responsible for.

You will be part of a team of two section leaders and one operations manager. The nearest supervisor is Vision's marketing and recruitment manager.
